BUILDING ON THE SUCCESS OF LAST year's Team Atlantic mission to New England, the Atlantic Provinces are once again leading a trade delegation of 40 companies.
In partnership with Team Canada, this year's mission is designed to encourage companies to explore new business opportunities offered through exporting. This initiative is unique in that many of the mission participants, while successful in their domestic market, have not yet explored the export marketplace.
A new component to this year's trade mission is the addition of Junior Team Canada representatives who are joining the delegation to learn first hand about exporting and trade. New England, a large and prosperous market with strong transport, cultural and historic links to Atlantic Canada, presents an exciting challenge to the mission participants.
This mission will focus on exploring the potential, the opportunities and the possible partnerships to be established between these two coastal markets.
