TEAM ATLANTIC, A TRADE MISSION to four of the New England states, is an initiative of the Conference of Atlantic Premiers designed to encourage companies to explore new business opportunities offered through exporting.
New England is a large, highly competitive market with easy access to all of the Atlantic provinces. There are excellent transportation links and few cultural differences. There is a long history of trade relationships between Atlantic Canada and New England, but what is unique about the Team Atlantic initiative is the export experience of the participating companies. While they all have the products and the capacity to participate in international markets, most of the companies have not yet embarked into the export arena.
This mission will focus on exploring the potential, the opportunities and the possible partnerships that could be established between these two coastal markets.
