All Team Canada Atlantic trade missions are designed to be independent programs focussed on three full days of business-to-business opportunities with one-on-one matchmaking sessions.
There are three distinct formats for a Team Canada Atlantic mission:
TIER 1:
- entry into a new market
- led by the Prime Minister and/or Minister of Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Atlantic Canadian Premiers
- business-to-business matchmaking program
- associate delegate program
- investment program for mission officials
- multi-sector
TIER 2:
- follow-up mission to a Tier 1 market
- led by Minister of Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the four Atlantic Canadian provincial trade ministers
- business-to-business matchmaking program
- associate program
- investment program
- multi-sector
TIER 3:
- follow-up mission to any Tier 2 market
- generally sector specific in nature
- normally led by provincial and/or ACOA senior officials
- business-to-business matchmaking program
- no associate program
- no investment program
